FAQ’s

Q: What happens if the weather is bad?
A: Rainy weather is a reality in Vancouver, in fact it can create some nice misty conditions in the forest. I strongly recommend preparing for rain with rain gear and an umbrella. I cannot control the weather, and refunds will not be given because it rained.

Q: Will my feet get wet?
A: To get the most out of this trip you might have step in a creek or two. You can still get good shots without getting in the water but I recommend brining some footwear that can go in the water.

Q: What clothes should I bring?
A: Spring weather is notoriously unpredictable but it usually cool in the forests and canyons. Make sure you have good hiking shoes and an extra pair that you are willing to get wet.

Q: What gear is required

A: You should have a DSLR camera and a tripod. Extra batteries and memory cards are recommended

Q: Can I fly my drone?

A: Unfortunately this isn’t a drone friendly trip:(

However, we will follow best practices to ensure the experience is as positive as possible for both students and the environment, such as:

  • I have a wilderness first aid certification and a first aid kit

  • maintaining distance from wildlife

  • avoiding the trampling of sensitive vegetation

  • Leave not trace principles.
